Libraries


Akron-Summit County Public Library, Barberton Public Library, Cuyahoga Falls Library, Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library, and Twinsburg Public Library have partnered with Summit County Job and Family Services (SCJFS) to provide on-site office hours at various library locations, where you may meet one-on-one with a case manager to assist with:

  • Applying for, renewing cash (OWF), food (SNAP) or medical assistance (Medicaid)
  • Case or eligibility questions
  • Scanning documents and verifications
  • Making copies (e.g., birth certificates, Social Security cards, pay stubs, and other legal documents)
  • Benefit issuance history
  • Resources and more.

Case managers are available each month at the following library locations on designated days and times—no appointment necessary; however, they are not available on recognized county or federal holidays.
