Finding a trusted, affordable caregiver to watch your children while you’re at work or school can be a challenge.
Child Care Services can help you find the right caregiver for your children. Whether you choose a day care center, home care provider, or care from a relative, we can help eligible families pay part of the cost.

More families than ever before are eligible for child care services. Any parent or guardian who is working or going to school and who meets the income guidelines (see Income Guidelines below) is eligible for child care services.
Applying for benefits is easy. No face-to-face interview is required and you only need to reapply once a year. Visit any of the locations listed in the Where to Apply tab, or call Summit County Department of Job and Family Services at 330.643.7686 for an application.
